Avandia
Zoll, Kranz and Borgess is currently reviewing claims related to the prescription drug, Avandia (Rosiglitazone). Avandia is sold by GlaxoSmithKline PLC and is used to treat Type 2 diabetes. Avandia helps sensitize the body to insulin. A recent study published by the New England Journal of Medicine, however, concluded that the drug raised the risks of cardiac-related deaths and heart attacks.
