In 1988, after practicing law in a large law firm for eleven years, David W. Zoll started a solo practice on West Central Avenue, in Sylvania Township, which grew to the present law firm of Zoll, Kranz and Borgess. From the beginning Zoll strove to define himself and his firm by certain values. The firm is based upon the value of Integrity, the qualities of intelligence, passion and sincerity, and the power of setting and attaining worthwhile personal and professional goals. Integrity Integrity means a soundness of moral principle which no power or influence can impair. It connotes wholeness, completeness and rectitude. Integrity means that all persons are equal before the law; that we all are subject to the law, and that the framework of the law can and must be used to prevent and resolve the disputes of our clients. Integrity requires that each attorney commit to represent his or her clients with passion, logic, and ethics. Integrity requires that each employee and attorney have the ability and motivation to attain his or her full potential. Integrity requires that the law firm maintain systems, facilities and personnel to efficiently and effectively deliver the highest quality of legal services. Integrity requires that each attorney know the law, believe in the client, and prepare each case with diligence. The practice of law consistent with the value of integrity and the power of setting and accomplishing goals generates its own generous rewards. Those rewards include the development of a reputation for fairness and hard work, the referral of interesting and remunerative cases by other professionals and former clients, and the establishment of that credibility essential for success before tribunals. Each attorney and employee of the firm is expected to subscribe to these principles:
Intelligence The firm takes a team approach in resolving its clients’ disputes. We are committed to working for each client with unequaled intelligence, passion and sincerity. To be Intelligent in the practice of law is to:
Sincerity To be sincere in the practice of law is to:
Passion To be Passionate about the law is to:
